We don't just pray, we pray first!
Welcome to the Grace Hill Church 21-Day Prayer Guide. As we walk through this season together, we believe that prayer not only changes things, it changes us. This guide is an invitation to unite our church in seeking God’s wisdom, provision, and presence with one heart and one voice. At Grace Hill, we say we don’t just pray, we pray first, because prayer is the starting point of every faithful step forward. Each day, begin with one minute of silence, have your Bible ready (paper or digital), and read the day’s theme, Scripture passage, and prayer prompt. Meditate on any words or phrases that stand out, and then pray like you’re talking with a trusted friend, out loud, silently, or through journaling.

Theme: Trust in God’s Power
Scripture: Ephesians 3:20–21
Prayer Prompt: Ask God to fill our church with a deep trust in his power to do more than we can imagine. Pray that our planning and decisions are grounded in faith, not fear.
Day 2 – June 2, 2025
Theme: A Spirit of Hopeful Honesty
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:1–2
Prayer Prompt: Pray that our leaders and our congregation will continue to walk in transparency, honesty, and hope as we navigate this next season.

Theme: Shared Ownership
Scripture: Philippians 2:1–4
Prayer Prompt: Pray that our church family would step in with ownership and participation, not as spectators, but as partners in God’s mission.

Theme: Gratitude for Provision
Scripture: Psalm 23:1
Prayer Prompt: Thank God for his faithful provision over the years, including the resources from our building sale. Ask him to continue providing for our needs.

Prayer Prompt: Pray for wisdom to steward our resources well—our budget, our time, our people. Ask for discernment as decisions are made in the coming months.

Prayer Prompt: Ask God to bring new families and individuals to Grace Hill who are searching for hope, healing, and community.

Theme: Financial Growth Through Generosity
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7–8
Prayer Prompt: Pray that our church would be marked by joyful and faithful generosity. Ask God to provide the 16 new giving partners needed—and beyond.

Theme: Reaching the Bitter, Bored, and Broken
Scripture: Luke 15:1–7
Prayer Prompt: Pray for those who feel disillusioned, wounded, or disconnected from church. Ask God to open the doors of Grace Hill to them.

Theme: Renewal in Invitation
Scripture: John 1:45–46
Prayer Prompt: Ask God to give us boldness in inviting friends, neighbors, and coworkers to church. Pray for divine appointments.

Theme: Sharing Our Stories
Scripture: Revelation 12:11
Prayer Prompt: Pray that the people of Grace Hill would not be ashamed to share their stories of God’s grace. Ask God to use our testimonies to draw others in.

Prayer Prompt: Pray that our online presence would reflect our heart and reach those scrolling who are quietly searching for something real.

Prayer Prompt: Ask God to raise up creative thinkers, artists, and digital storytellers to use their gifts for the mission of our church.

Prayer Prompt: Pray that when people walk through the doors of Grace Hill, they feel seen, welcomed, and embraced. Ask God to make us people of radical hospitality.

Theme: Presence Over Performance
Scripture: Luke 10:41–42
Prayer Prompt: Ask God to help us focus on being present with people rather than performing ministry. Pray for simplicity and sincerity in our gatherings.

Theme: Listening to People’s Stories
Scripture: James 1:19
Prayer Prompt: Pray that we would become a church known for listening—especially to those who have been wounded or marginalized by past church experiences.
Day 17 – June 17, 2025
Theme: Embracing the Margins

Prayer Prompt: Ask God to give us a heart for those pushed to the edges of society. Pray that we would be a place where the marginalized are welcomed and valued.

Prayer Prompt: Pray for unity across differences: age, race, politics, and stories. Ask God to make Grace Hill a reflection of the kingdom of heaven.

Scripture: Psalm 78:4–7
Prayer Prompt: Pray for students, kids, and families in our church. Ask God to help us disciple the next generation with joy, conviction, and compassion.

Scripture: Isaiah 54:2
Prayer Prompt: Ask God to prepare our hearts, systems, and spaces for growth. Pray for wisdom as we consider how to expand and serve more people.

Prayer Prompt: Give thanks for God’s presence and provision through this season. Pray that as we look back, we will be a church marked by faith, humility, and deep joy.
